It’s officially here. The new year brings new changes to the Facebook algorithm that, if you don’t already know (and you should), directly affects who does and who does not see your newsfeed ads.
The Viability of Twitter
Recently, several clients have had their Twitter accounts locked down due to organic follow back practices. You know, the cheat we all do (and won’t own up to) of following people with similar interests to your business in hopes of a follow back. After all, that’s what sites like Tweepi and iUnfollow are for. To help clean all that up and make the practice easier.
2015 and the Resolution Dilemna
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I can’t believe a whole year has come and gone (requisite cliché phrase out of the way). What’s more shocking to me is that I’m one month out from when I hit New York soil. My anniversary to moving to this great state is on Feb 6th, and I couldn’t be more excited. So much as happened in the last year not to be.
The Dilemma of Instagram for Business
It’s fascinating, really. Instagram is one of the biggest social media channels out there. It’s owned by Facebook and has over 200 million monthly active users, and almost half of the top 100 brands post on an account.
But you know what Instagram doesn’t have? A way to schedule posts.
Friday Funday (no laughing at my magical term)
Social Media for Hire (Blocking) – Yes, it’s still an issue
Here’s a question that’s plagued so many HR managers and potential hires alike: Is it still acceptable to ask for a potential hire’s social media pages for their background check? Or, in some cases, a current employee’s to see if they’re talking about the company?
So many firms still say yes.
Because it’s Friday and I feel like shamelessly plugging my current favorite movie
Have some glorious Captain America: The Winter Soldier posters!
(In my defense, each image links out to the CA Facebook page. SEE? I MADE IT RELEVANT!)
New Facebook Pages is here!
Well, it’s finally here. Since its announcement back in the Spring, Facebook has finally launched their new look for Pages across the board. Have you had chance to review your page yet?
For no reason other than I love you all. HAPPY FRIDAY!
Twitter for 2014 – Yes, it looks just like Facebook, Google+, Tumblr… But that’s a good thing!
You’ve all seen the new updates for Twitter. One of the first things a client said to me was, “It looks like Facebook. I hate Facebook. Ergo, I now hate Twitter.”
